East Beach Urgent care is a new concept designed to be Virginia’s premier Urgent Care Center, offering ambulatory acute and urgent medical care. We provide an extensive array of general medical services in addition to occupational/industrial health care services. We are open seven days a week, and our providers are trained to handle a diverse assortment of ailments. Patients are seen on a walk-in basis at the Urgent Care Center
We provide Urgent Care to many communities including but not limited to East Beach, Shore Drive, Ocean View, Little Creek, and many more in the greater Norfolk Area

Jenalee Shields, PA-C, grew up in rural Pennsylvania. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA, and became a certified physician assistant in August 2016. Shortly after graduating, she relocated to Virginia Beach to begin her career in urgent care. Since then, Jenalee has gained experience in both urgent care and family medicine settings, allowing her to provide well-rounded, patient-centered care. She is passionate about helping patients make meaningful lifestyle changes to better manage their health conditions and improve overall well-being. Jenalee has a particular interest in suturing and skin procedures and enjoys providing hands-on care that helps patients feel confident in their treatment and recovery.
Ashley Brittingham FNP grew up in New Hampshire and attended Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Ashley worked as a Registered Nurse for over seven years in the states of Rhode Island, California, and Virginia, She quickly realized that in order to be truly effective, she needed to reach people before they entered the hospital. This idea greatly impacted her decision to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. Ashley believes strongly in empowering her patients and their families to play an active role in their health and looks forward to bringing this passion to East Beach Urgent Care.
